Thought: Spiritual Principle - "Work" and "Law of the Harvest"
(We reap what we sow; sometimes multiplied - like the dandelion.)
Music: "Seasons & Times"
Scriptures: Eccl 3:1-8,11
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted...
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Reading - "Dandelions" (We read the book pictured above, but you can read any book.)
Art - Collect or Draw different parts of dandelions for a brief report on “The Life of a Dandelion”
Math - Fact: "Seed production varies from 54 to 172 seeds per head and a single plant can produce more
than 2000 seeds." (Nov 12, 2002 - https://fyi.uwex.edu/weedsci/2002/11/12/dandelion/)
Activity - Divide kids up to count dandelions in yard (some in front / some in back)
Count total # dandelions (Get out early in the SPRING before they "multiply")
Times # of dandelions in Spring (yard) by # seeds per dandelion (54 and 172 seeds) to get your estimations.
Science - "Dandelion is generally an apomictic plant and seed production normally occurs without pollination."
(Nov 12, 2002 - https://fyi.uwex.edu/weedsci/2002/11/12/dandelion/)
Physics - "work" is a physics principle. See "How (subject) Works" (i.e. nature, math, science, things, universe, weather )
Activities: "Work" in yard
Pull dandelions out of yard in “Spring” before there are too many.
Gardening: Prepare yard and planting seeds
